Thanksgiving, and Saunders fam pics

Our Thanksgiving celebrations started on Monday the 23rd, and will not end until December 17th. We always have a big breakfast thing thanksgiving morning with Clints family and his cousins. Not everyone could this year, so we did it the Monday before. In the top picture I am painting Eva's hand so she can make a turkey shirt. You paint the palm and thumb brown, and the fingers different colors and then press it on a shirt to make a turkey. Clint's mom and her sister always have fun activities for everyone to do.

Pressing her hand on her shirt.
Here you can see her colorful hand and little turkey on her shirt.
Here's my mom-in-law and aunt-in-law Jill. These two always have their own home made games. They go a little overboard when brought together....but we love it!
Here's the grandkids. Chris and Jill always make the grandkids pajama bottoms.
Close up of Eva. Her hand turkey and it says Eva 2009.
Here's all the lady's. We always get matching slippers, or socks or something. this year we got matching pajamas.
All the guys in their cool pj bottoms that look like a really bad pair of jeans! We went to Walmart on our way home and Clint was a little embarrassed to go in the store wearing those! ha ha
I sware I get a picture of Clint's uncle Gaynard doing something goofy in the "guy" picture every year. I love him so much! He is the funnest guy.
Our little fam
Eva's night ended with her and Grandpa dancing the night away. It was very sweet. She was just singing the whole time while they swayed.
Aren't the jammies they made so cute? The girls even got a matching purse. Thank you Chris and Jill for always making everything so special.
BEHOLD......The Norseth "measuring wall" Right in the middle of their house might I add. It has been around for years and years. Everyone who they are close to get measured every once in a while. I got to get measured when me and Clint were engaged. They just measure you and write it right on the wall!
Here is Eva Thanksgiving day getting her latest measure. She has grown ALOT since her last time at 3 months. It's going to be so fun to show Eva when she's grown up.
Our family Thanksgiving day 2009.
Had to get a classic nap picture on Thanksgiving. All that turkey!
He was a tired boy! ha ha look at his eyes. We had a big Thanksgiving dinner at the Norseth's during the day. It was delish! Then we went to my parents for snacks later and played boys against girls pictionary. Us girls were SO far ahead it was sad. So we decided to give them a charity point. And then they won like 6 in a row and they won! Danget!

So here is my families 'family picture 2005". That is the last time we got family pictures. Stace and Ty only had 3 kids. Kris and Troy two little boys. Kari and Casey cute newly weds, and me and Bri still living it up on our own!

Saunders family pictures 2009. 8 people have joined the family! 2 spouces, and 6 kids! The black family is Stacey. Red-Kristy, Blue-Kari, Brown-Brian, White-Me. .....green-mom and dad.
Here's all the grandkids. While this picture was being taken they were all just laughing their heads off it was so funny.
Here's the girls. Gretel has been alone for a long time until Miley came, and then 3 more in one year!
And the handsome boys!
I love my fam so much and have always had a special place in my heart for my dear nieces and nephews. What a wonderful family I can be Thankful for during this time.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New moon, Eva walking, and...GRATEFUL!

Oh yeah baby oh yeah!!!!!!! Me and my sisters have had tickets for a while to go see New Moon Saturday morning. Then my sister in-law called me last minute and said her dad's company rented out a theater in Sandy for Friday night at 7:00 and that.......IT WAS FREE!!! So me and my sisters decided we would take the opportunity and bring our husbands along. Here's me and Clint about to drive down!!! Clint is such a champ. He was excited.
Me and Kar-Bear showing off our Team Cullen Vampire Baseball League shirts!! Oh yeah we love the cullens! It was SO fun! All my brother in-laws are kind-of shee-bags though and they were making fun, so us girls couldn't FULLY enjoy.
So we still went Saturday morning too. JUST WITH THE GIRLS!!! Here we are at breakfast before. 7:45!!!!!! I do NOT do 7:45! I get sick when I wake up that early, so I couldn't even eat my delicious breakfast. So we LOVED the movie so much more the second time just with us girls. It 's so fun how everyone cheers when it first shows Edward and When Jacob takes off his shirt! So fun! It has it's cheesy parts, but I don't care, I love it! And the Cullens look alot better in this one! Rosalie looks tons better! Thanks SO much Chris and Mike for watching Eva both times!!

Here's a little video of Eva learning to walk. She doesn't get very far but she's coming along! I just hope she will be able to walk down the hall on film Christmas morning!

TMI WARNING. I hope this doesn't gross anyone out. I just thought it would be kind-of funny to share. And make you pause and think to be grateful for something you probably don't even give much thought to.

I have been on medication for 5 1/2 years. This medication leaves me with the LOVELY side effect of........ CONSTIPATION!!! Yes everyone I have been suffering with this for 5 1/2 years! NOT FUN! Were talking....lucky to go once a week.

Well I have been taking my medication less and less and have been totally off for a few months! And guess what???? I am totally running normal again! And let me just say.....being able to "go" is such a beautiful gift! ha ha. My life just got a little more happy.

So everyone out there....take this moment to pause....and be GRATEFUL that you run normally. Hopefully you all do, and if not.... check out my sidebar for a link to my new blog for tips on what helps.....

HA HA HA. I am so just kidding, that blog does not exist. But hang in there and let me know if you ever need to talk. Ha ha

Family pictures 09!

This one is my favorite of Eva. I did all the editing and put the name on myself! Oh she just looks so precious!
This is my fav of me and Clint. I just love it. Clint looks freaking hot! There's nothing cuter then a picture of your husband kissing you with his eyes closed.
Little cutie in the tree. I'm kinda sad that Eva never just cheesed it like she does SO much when I take pictures of her. But I was just glad that she looked happy and cute. And that she held still!
Here's the 2nd best family pic of us. The one that is our top header picture is my favorite. If anyone wonders how I got the writing on it, I just did it on paint. I love paint!
I love this foggy look that Julie does. I wish I knew how to do it.
This one looks like she is walking in a dream or something. Love it!
Looking at the leaf on her arm
Me and Clinty. I love him
This one is cute, but she looks uncomfortable. Her vest is up so it looks like shes hunching
This is my favorite smiling one.
She's like about to fall over or something. But she looks so cute!
Taking our journey together through life
Doing peek-a-boo. She just pulled her hands off her face
Kissing our little girl. We just snapped this one real quick for fun at the very end. It was the only one of us doing this. I'm so glad it turned out so cute!
My aunt Julie is great! 50 dollar sitting fee and then you just get the whole CD and can print all you want! I'm so glad we finally got pictures with Eva! We did them at Beus Park if anyone is wondering.

Happy birthday dear Eva, happy birthday to you!

Our little girl has been with us a whole year! It went by so fast I can't believe it. It has been such a fun, happy year. We are so grateful to have her in our lives. Here is the invitation that I sent out to Eva's party. (Address scribbled out)
Here's the decorations. It was purple star themed.
Here she is digging into her presents.
She was really good with pulling the tissue paper out of sacks. Just like she is very good at emptying out a draw very fast (and faster when I say stop) and "helping mommy with the laundry" which means to empty out the baskets and unfold everything I've folded.
Here's Eva's Great G-pa & G-ma Saunders. I was so glad they came, even though they drove themselves. (which my mom says was naughty) They are the two sweetest people in the world.
Family and friends.
There's Eva's Great G-pa & G-ma Bloomquist and Great G-ma Hadley and great aunt Nadine.
Oh yeah Kar-bear! I saw this idea on line for first birthdays to do a "How well do you know the birthday girl" quiz. Just some questions about Eva and a prize for the winner! Kari knew she was gonna win cause she is my BFF! Before I read the answers Kari wrote winner winner all over her paper. I love my big sis. Here she is holding up the quiz and her prize! Eva loves you Kar!
Here's the "cute" cakes for the guests. I didn't have very much time to make them fancy!
Here's Eva's purple star cake. It looks pretty good from this view.....
But here you can see how crapy all the corners were. It was just crumbling on the corners so I couldn't frost them anymore. I needed Buddy to come help me from cake boss!
Singing to Eva. That was so much fun and so weird. I've been to so many birthday parties and have blown out my own candles and I just couldn't believe we were really singing to MY child.
I tried to teach her how to blow the week before, but she didn't get it. So me and Clint blew them out for her.
Here's most of the kids with their party hats on gathered around Eva. It was a MAD house. I'm so glad my mom has a big basement for us to have parties! I wish so bad I could do stuff at my own house!
Set loose! Have at it Eva girl!
It was so cute watching her dig in. She didn't eat as much as I expected though. Only one star leg. Then she was just holding her hands out to us like she wanted them cleaned off. Must be watching her figure.
Birthday girl with Mom and Dad. In the background her b-day slideshow is going on. First baby's first birthday...of course I'm gonna go all out!

Here's a short video of Eva eating her cake. I wish I would have made it longer.

video

Thanks to everyone who came and helped and made Eva's party special! Thanks so much Mom! And Eva thanks everyone for her presents! To celebrate turning 1 Eva got to go to the doctor today and get shots! And I got to hold her arms down while she was shaking so bad from crying so hard and just staring at me screaming with her eyes... WHY MOM WHY!!!????

All moms know there is nothing sader.

Happy Halloween!!!

Well I decided to be ambitious and make Eva's costume. I was still finishing up a few things yesterday, but luckily it all came together! Here's out adorable juicy strawberry girl!
She stands all by herself like a champ these days, and is starting to take steps.
Every year all my sisters and their families meet at my parents at the same time so we can all see everyones costumes. This is my oldest sister stacey's family. They always dress up as a theme together. This year they were.... A King and Queen, Merlin, a Dragon, a Knight, and two fairies.
My sister Kristy and her kitties. Little Pirates!
Kari's little boy Emett wanted to be a tiger. At the last minute Kari saw this newborn tiger costume at Walmart! So she had Mia be one like her big brother. So cute!
I just had to post all these pics of Eva in her costume! Here we are at Clints sisters house. Here's the grandkids (minus lil Will asleep in the car). A football player, Coraline (love that show!), a power ranger, a genie, and buzz lightyear.

I love this picture of her standing there. My dad snapping pictures of her.
Family photo. Me and Clint were lame and just wore Halloween shirts. But at least we were festive!
Well we had a great Halloween. Eva has experienced all of the holidays now! Next year we will go Trick or Treating! She turns one on the 9th of November! I can't believe it!

Pumpkin Carving!

Hello friends! Can you believe I went a whole month without updating? The only reason I would do this is because we have been doing NOTHING! So finally last night, we did something worthy of taking pictures. We had Clint's cousin Gavin and his wife Tawnya over. We ate pizza and watched the game. Then we carved pumpkins! Clint eating the sick guts and Gavin is ready to cut Tawnya's head off!

hmmmm...... let's see....... I wonder who has been married longer??? Gav and Tawnya just got married in the summer. It makes me sad to look at these pictures and see that me and Clint are so not lovey dovey anymore!
We got Eva the smallest little perfect cute pumpkin. I am helping her hold the marker and draw a face on it.
But that wasn't really working out so I just had to finish it.

Here's our little pumpkin.....with her little pumpkin. I just couldn't get a cute picture!
Here was the end result! From left to right... Mine, Gavins, Tawnya's, Clint's. You can't even see Gavins which is a bummer cause it was the coolest mummy. Tawnya's witch is my favorite.

I just wanted to show this adorable little picture frame that I got from Target in the dollar section! I love it! And Eva looks so cute! Were glad we finally hung out with them it was so fun! We ended the night watching a movie (The happening) It was a pretty dumb show, but it made us laugh alot.

Also yesterday we finally got family pictures taken with Eva! I hope they turn out cute. So I will be posting those soon! Oh and of course Halloween! Have a good Halloween everyone!

Me and Mia. I will be her favorite auntie!

Eva is huge! She wasn't too interested in Mia
I think this pic is so cute with her blue bow and eyes open. She's so sweet.
This picture of me and Clint when Kari had her first baby Emett. 3 years ago when we had just gotten married! They look alot alike.

Goodbye Mal Gal! "Mali". I have had her since I was a junior in High School. We have had some good times. I will miss her! Clint will take care of her now. She is a big upgrade from his piece. At least she's staying in the family! I do love my new red van.."Rosalie"
